    Situated some distance from the main tourist routes in western Victoria, for those folk seeking peace and solitude Mt. Beckworth Scenic Reserve is well worth visiting.

    Couldn't actually get into the reserve as the last 4km of road are not passable in a 2wd (without messing it up). Some road signage would also be appreciated, it's easy to get lost.

    There is a small parking space near the end of Coutts Road where walkers can leave their car. The easy to moderate 40 minute walk via the Southern Ridge Track to the summit will be rewarded with outstanding views.

    Beautiful Bush area. Really worth a visit. Roads not suitable for two wheel drives though when it has been wet.
